Bio: Terry (Bischler) Waldorf
Following graduation, I moved to Saskatoon and took nursing training.
I was married in 1974 and worked in hospitals and at a Doctors office for a few years.
Then we moved to Lloydminster. In Lloydminster I worked in nursing for a short time. I worked in a municipal office for 12 years.
We have 3 children, Tracey, Lisa & Jarrett. I have 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
We moved to an acreage just outside of Vermilion, Alberta. I worked at the local newspaper for 13 years. We were involved in Light Horse 4H. We also had a gun shop in Vermilion for a while. Jarrett did his motorbikes & quads rallies with his dad. They did a lot of hunting together.
I have been a widow since 2004. In 2008 I moved back to Lloydminster and have been working for Saskatchewan Housing Corporation at Lloydminster Housing Authority office. I am planning to retire sometime this year.
I did follow the Canadian Professional Chuckwagon Association for about 8 years. I video recorded the races. My granddaughter, who was 6 when we started this journey, worked in the barns for a couple of the drivers. We met many great people during that time. My granddaughter and I are still involved with horses today, hauling to rodeos and gymkhanas.
